Die Keto Schule · est. ketosis

Welcome to
keto school.

Keto works best when it's taught, not guessed. This is the curriculum: six lessons, zero bro-science, no forty-dollar PDF at the end. Schule is German for school — and yes, the classroom really is on Skool. We couldn't resist.

The Curriculum

Read in order. Each lesson is a summary you can act on today — the full classroom discussion lives with the community.

  1. Lektion 01

    What ketosis actually is

Your body runs on two fuels: glucose and fat. Keep carbohydrates low enough for long enough and the liver starts converting fat into ketones — a clean-burning fuel your brain happens to love. That switch is ketosis. Not a detox, not magic: a metabolic state you can enter, measure, and maintain.

  2. Lektion 02

    The kitchen purge

You won't out-discipline a pantry full of crackers. One honest hour: sugar, flour, bread, rice, pasta, cereal, juice, and the "healthy" granola all leave the building. What stays: meat, fish, eggs, cheese, butter, olive oil, above-ground vegetables, nuts, and berries. If it has an ingredient list longer than a sentence, be suspicious.

  3. Lektion 03

Fat is fuel — macros without math anxiety

The starting shape: carbs stay under roughly 20–30g net per day, protein is the anchor at every meal, and fat fills the rest until you're satisfied — not stuffed. You don't need a spreadsheet in week one. You need three keto meals you actually enjoy, repeated until they're boring, then upgraded.

  4. Lektion 04

    The first 72 hours

When carbs drop, your body flushes water — and sodium, potassium, and magnesium go with it. That's the famous "keto flu," and it's mostly an electrolyte problem: salt your food properly, drink water, and consider magnesium at night. Sleep more than you think you need. By day four, most people feel the fog lift.

  5. Lektion 05

    Restaurants, road trips, real life

Keto that only works in your own kitchen isn't a lifestyle, it's a hobby. The moves: bunless everything, swap the fries for a salad, steak is always safe, breakfast places are a cheat code (eggs, bacon, avocado), and gas stations sell cheese, nuts, and jerky. Nobody at the table will notice. Nobody at the table cares.

  6. Lektion 06

    Advanced class: fasting & performance

Once you're fat-adapted, skipping breakfast stops being suffering and starts being convenient — ketosis and intermittent fasting are natural teammates. This is where keto goes from "diet" to operating system: steadier energy, fewer decisions, deeper focus. It's also exactly the territory our executive coaching lives in.
